    Hey guys,

I have access to 3rd gen suspension with low miles on it. I need to do my lower control arms this week for my 2nd gen and figured I may as well swap out the shocks while I’m in there. My question - do I need to change anything to upper control arms when swapping in the 3rd gen suspension? Or are 2nd gen upper control arms fine ? thanks

That's fine but be aware the 3rd gen springs have a stouter spring rate and are taller, you will probably get a little lift in the front. If your rear is stock and sagging your truck may end up with a little squat.
