I got my mom a mat for her Tacoma for mothers day.... I told her she needs to make sure to put some PL400 Flooring adhesive under it so it doesn't shift around under her factory tonneau cover. No such thing as too safe.....:anonymous:

I live on the South Shore and had mine done 2 weekends ago. Thing is like a new truck. Shifting has greatly improved and MPGs seem to have gone up noticeably.
If you're interested, PM me. He'll take care of you.

Slightly better pics after the OME lift, 17x8 rims and 285/70/17's:

    IMG_2895.jpg

    OME: OMETAC16HKSB2
Rims: FSW F158, 17x8 zero offset
    Tires: KO2, 285/70/17, C load

Without the fun front forced-perspective pic:

    IMG_2896.jpg

I was the teensiest bit worried about going with the "heavy load" OMETAC16HKSB OME kit, but I'm glad I did. It rode like a champ with ~425lbs. of wheels & tires in the bed and hasn't been the least bit harsh when empty. Between my sliders and all the aux power stuff like a 2nd battery and other goodies I've probably added 250-300lbs. of sprung weight to the truck. I'll get it weighed again with the new suspension goodies & tires.

    Measured hub-to-fender lift with OME:

    Front +2.25"
    Rear +1.5"

I used Plastidip on mine. Quick and easy. Durable as well.

I tried to install that same piping and couldnt get it fitted in to the panel gaps. Admittedly I was trying to squeeze this mod in between swapping out interior lights and installing some behind the grill lights, so maybe my full effort wasnt put in but what was your install secret?

Flashed KDMax 6.0 (upgraded from Kruiser tune) and got rid of some chrome by installing TRD Pro tail lights. Loving both mods.

Using more than one plastic pry bar. You have to open up the gap and bury it deep for it to hold.

ok, so possible dumb question: do you have to have a sunroof to have that rack fit, or is it called a sunroof rack b/c it is big and on the ceiling, like a sunroof?

I really like that model, but don't have a sunroof in my SR5...

Yes, this model is for sunroof equipped tacos. He’s had one for non-sunroofs for a while now:

    https://mesocustoms.com/collections/toyota-tacoma-3rd-gen/products/overhead-hexrack

The big difference is the location of the dome light.
