    Hi everyone,
I’m brand new to this forum. So I’ll start with...is there a programmer that will allow me to hold the gears just a bit longer than the factory setup? It seems to jump up too quickly, loosing all of it’s torque. I’m still in factory warranty, so I don’t want to void that.
    Thank you

Do a search on tunes KDMAX, OVTUNE, Valley Runner and a few others I am sure. Many many pages on each. All those tunes do wonders for shifting. Just your preference on everything else. I personally am on KDMAX 6.0 SLT and have been really impressed what they did with the shifting, among other things

Does it have an adverse effect on your fuel economy, mainly city driving?

Might want to check this out. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tsb-0092-20-is-awesome.696230/
I imagine its not as drastic as a tune would be, but I noticed a difference right away.

I did the KDMAX tune at 2600 miles. Totally changed how the truck runs, shifts, and I swear it doesn't tick any more either. Money well spent. Find someone in your area doing the tune. Search for KDMAX tune. First post has people in your area doing the tune.

I have a clutch that takes care of that.
