PSA, don't waste your time with 1/4" hub-centric spacers.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
    What's up TacomaWorld!

Aside from a bunch of electrical modifications, my truck is mostly stock. But I really like the look when the rim and tire are "flush" with the fender. So about a year ago I bought 0.25" wheel spacers that use the existing lugs but push out the wheels juuuuust a little bit.

They worked fine last year. They worked fine all winter. This season I guess I rushed it a little with my wheel rotation because for the last few months I noticed a small vibration at 65mph. It wasn't always there, sometimes it would disappear completely, then come back again.

Evidently, even though the spacer itself is centered around the hub, the wheel is then only centered on the lugs and that lug tolerance is not enough to eliminate strange vibrations. Learn from my mistake! These things are going in the trash.

I tried them years ago on my JK and they were so badly machined you could see the wheels wobble as I drove down the road

if you're using stock wheels and flat faced lugs this is expected. you'll need to use tapered lugs and appropriate wheels to accept them if you want to run spacers without a centering lip
