I have a 2018 pro with 2k miles.. raining alot in Houston this whole year and i just checked my fogs and there’s condensation inside the lens. Im not the type to bitch and complain about every little thing. Ill mention it at my first service. Anyone else have this issue? 30 minuets later I rechecked and its completely dry. Maybe there’s a breather so this is common and designed to do so.

A little condensation is normal. If it accumulates enough to start to fill the lens then there is an issue.

I would check the bulb gasket and make sure its tight and clean.

I don't think condensation on the inside is normal. Any condensation will evaporate but leave a film of deposits on the inside of the lens. Then this cycle will just repeat. The film will bake on with the use of the light and be next to impossible to clean off.

That is a rigid fog light. There is no way that should be inside a sealed light. Demand replacement from Toyota.

So based on Rigids site, they have a GORE pressure equalizer vent on the back to eliminate deformation of the actual water seals caused by pressure changes. Looks like it allowed some moisture in maybe.

I’d just bring it up with Toyota at your next visit and get it replaced.

Based on Rigids site also, they seem to use the adhesive seals not screw in or whatever the other options were. Doc on the possible product they use:
    https://www.gore.com/sites/g/files/ypyipe116/files/2017-08/GORE_PTV_AdhesiveVents_EN_WEB.pdf

Either way something failed and didnt do it’s job.
