99 SR5 4x4 Xtracab 320,000 miles

I'm never getting rid of my Tacoma. It was exactly what I was looking for and had everything I wanted when I bought it in 2004. Folks ask how much I want for it just about everywhere I go. Replaced the side mirrors (pictured) which are for 2000-2005 models that our friends at Amazon said wouldn't fit It's fun to drive, in pristine condition, and I'm incredibly proud of it. I often pull over and talk to folks I see driving 1st and 2nd generation Tacomas all the time.

To minimize the chrome accents, I removed and sold the step bars and rear bumper, replaced the front grille, 3rd brake light, rear tail lights, and license plate lights with LEDs, toolbox, the white TRD decals, got clear lens for both the side marker and signal lights, exterior door handles, and the antenna. The last change I plan to make will be to powder coat the bull bar with a subtle texture finish and paint the bumper end caps in a smooth black matte finish.

 

Damn that’s a lot of miles. Glad to know they can go that far!

@Choco_Taco I know folks who have double that amount of miles on their trucks. People ask why are Toyotas so expensive? They're built to last and they're well engineered vehicles.
