They were for me.... I pulled my steering wheel to install the OEM switch as well. Full factory setup after some frugal shopping cost me about $225. It adds some nice visibility at night especially on narrow wooded roads

 

I noticed my headlights seemed even worse than my first gen... this was right off the lot. After I had gotten tires I found a .pdf for 3rd gen tacoma headlight adjustment. I followed that.. it involved a big wall/garage door, level surface, some painter's tape, measuring tape, and some space (about 25 feet). My headlights were adjusted "in spec" but right towards the lower end. I adjusted them up a hair past midway of the spec and it was MUCH better. It was almost like they were pointing down at the road directly in front of me and not out ahead of me. It bothered me that a 20 year old truck had better lighting than something brand new. It was a bit of a pain, but it made night time driving so much safer

How did you make the home link work? I have an SR with a mirror that has no power to it. Just a plain ole rear view

* A HUGE shout to family owned and operated Tire Rack! They didn’t like turning the TPMS sensors 180 degrees to make them work, so they hooked me up and provided new sensors. Out the door at $690 for the tires, new TPMS sensors, mounted, balanced, and the free road hazard protection including tire repair reimbursement for two years.

I still need to figure out what to do about the lack of a key fob, and order the wiper stalk and swapping it out. Also, the steps are getting powder coated black.
