Just drove my local yota lot last night. They probably have 300 cars normally, two big back lots and a nice front. Last night, maybe 20 to 30 vehicles on the lot, and a bunch had sold tickets hanging from the mirror. Like almost nothing there, maybe 3 or 4 of some models, and maybe 1 runner, 2 tacos.

Me.....or close to it. I average 40K-50K a year for work, all reimbursed. My current work vehicle is a 2018 Taco, I bought it used 12 weeks ago with 31K on the odo, it now has 44K. I plan to drive it for a couple years then give it to my daughter as a graduation present.

I get a different work vehicle every couple years, try to buy used, 2-3 years old, put a 100K on them then flip for another.
In the past 8 years I've had a Camry, Corolla, Tacoma, Fusion(x2), Tundra (still have) & Vibe(Matrix)

I wish salaries would go up like this.

After all I’m still relatively low miles, mostly highway except for 86-87 — those were all “off-road” miles.

Did you get this from Reddit? I posted this Tacoma a few days ago I think. It’s crazy it’s listed for so much.

No, I don’t really care if did or didn’t but I was just asking.

Not really. Have you commuted in LA and the Inland Empire recently? Victorville to Tustin sucks hard.

    It’s real!!!!

just traded my slightly used 100,000 miles 2017 sport with miscellaneous things needing fixed and almost got what I paid for it in 2017.

I traded it on a new 6speed manual. I can sell it and make a huge profit

I forgot what a new truck looks like underneath before a salt filled winter!

Who needs a new 2021 with
    53 Miles
    6 speed manual
    Zero rust

no low ball offers ! I know what I got!!!!

I haven’t been in Cali traffic for at least a year. The last time was a week at a facility near LAX, stayed at a hotel 5 miles away, took a solid 20-25 minutes each way daily.

That's about a 1hr commute on most highways for a daily. What's impressive is he kept the stock gas tank with that long of a commute.

about 85 miles each way for a daily. That's not a normal daily. Time wise it all depends where you live. Pretty sure no one is doing 85 miles in one hour.

*Looks at NH-101 which is a 65mph zone*

Yeah, it's pretty normal here. Even with snow. I used to do around 77-78 in my last 3 cars and would get blown past by someone every 3 miles or so, every day.

It's even worse now that I'm trying to stay at the speed limit because of the tacoma's short range.

Edit: that's also not referring to the hell hole that is the NJ turnpike or half of the midwest I've been in. Turnpike is pretty much 100 the whole time because there is full sections that cops have nowhere to sit at, and parts of KS, OK, & NE I was getting blown past while doing 80+ in a rental Grand Cherokee Limited.
