    Nice video! Pad slap, it's a well known issue caused by too much play up and down. Not sure the exact cause, but I know older vehicles and domestics that I've worked on have all had brackets on the tops and bottoms of the pads that prevented that issue. Grease is a good, although likely temporary fix. Definitely dampened it though.

    The odd thing to me is that it just started happening like 1000 miles ago. Had the truck since new

    Could have something to do with that plate separating. Maybe some JB weld would help that? My truck does it, but I've never actually attempted to address it. It's usually just once after I change directions and hit the brakes and then it is held in place by the rotor direction.
