hay guys! I just put a 3-inch lift on my Tacoma and put bigger tires on it as well. after I installed the lift I took it to a shop to get my alignment sorted out. they somewhat fixed it, but my steering wheel shakes at high speeds (80 MPH) after I got the alignment done. Is this just the lifestyle I have to live with having lifted my truck? or did the shop I went to not do a good job at aligning the wheels.

So the shake is tires imbalance, the lift simply makes it more noticeable due to suspension angles. (take a look at your tie rod ends, they are now at an angle rather than pointing straight from the rack)

You can do a re-balance and rotate to see if it resolves it, but if they are aggressive tires you may have to live with a little shake.
