Lift advice/tips for 2wd

Appreciate the dobinsons input. I'll post pics in a couple of months. Still working on the research/decision making. Also looking at local shops since I have no mechanical background lol

 

I have a 2wd TRD OR with 2.5 spacers front 2 inches in back. Rides fine and has the look I wanted and a little bit more clearance for Houston flood waters. Less than 500 installed including alignment.

 

I feel like it needs a regear even without a lift from what I read from everyone else. When I bought this truck I wasn't super sure about a 4banger bc we've always had v6 tacomas in the family but I wasnt experienced enough or knew the lingo like truck enthusiasts. 5 years later still not an expert but know enough to be here like damn and trying to mod my truck lol
