Hello all. I have a 99 4Runner sr5. I just did a beilstein 2inch lift in the front and 1inch rear. I also replaced upper and lower ball joints. Although they aren’t rubbing, (sorry about the title) the UCA is super close to the tire. A bic lighter can barely fit in between. I am currently running 265/65r17 on 2015 tacoma wheels. I wanted to get a taller but skinnier tire - something around a 255/80r17 or maybe even 255/75r17. Jeez I just spend a boat load of money on the upgrade and now I’m worried a bigger tire than what I currently have will rub on the uca. Any suggestions? I’m out of cash now and don’t know what to do as this is my daily driver. Not too far of a commute but still do dirt roads once a month. A little disappointed that my mechanic didn’t mention this to me prior to the lift as they work on trucks mostly. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I have attached a few pics. Thanks in advance.

Also want to mention that my 99 taco has the same lift but I don’t have this issue and that has more clearance between the UCA and tire. 265/75r15.

    I have mods
You need wheels with more offset/backspace or wheel spacers to fix that.

Swap wheel from your Tacoma to the 4Runner and I bet you have plenty of clearance, just like on the Tacoma.

There is also a .75 inch borla spacer you can run just on the front set. I did that with my first gen running 4runner trd off road wheels

If you go with spacers, make sure to get hub-centric spacers to reduce the chance of over-loading your wheel studs.
