Ain't it amazing that you can buy a 44" box that's MASSIVE compared to the 24" one my dad had when I was a kid, then a year later, you come home with an extra tool, you look for space and ... shoot

Anyone have good experiences with vertical wrench storage pieces like this? I have 42 wrenches I need to fit in a 22 inch drawer and am at a loss.

Note to self, not all tools clean up as nicely with brake cleaner as others do:

    LOL....been there and done that....

Wet sand that with some 1500 grit sandpaper then hit it with some cutting compound and some polish and you might be able to get back to clear.

The Ernst Wrench Rails may be an option for you. I need to do the same, if you go that route I would like to hear how you like them..

I had one of those O-Ratchet sets my brother gave me for Christmas one year. I bought a service truck to put my welder on and yada yada going to work one day one of the doors came open and the ratchet set fell out, I turned around to go get it and someone beat me to it :pout:

I appreciate the compliment, you def use your's far more than I do so I can't knock the pragmatism of "just put all the wrenches in a drawer(s)"

I think my neatest drawer is my micrometer drawer and even it isn’t that neat :anonymous:

Curious about the hedge trimmer attachment. Haven't gotten one yet.

I tried it with what little battery it shipped with and it’s fantastic. I got this stuff on a sale and have the dewalt 60v string trimmer. I need to compare, before my buddy that’s buying it come and picks it up.

I wanted a multi attachment machine and dewalt was further out on shipping and cost a good bit more since not on sale. I have a ton of dewalt batteries so too bad for me really.

I'm waiting on the Dewalt attachments too since I'm already in the battery platform and have a 60v battery. The power head and string trimmer kit is in home depots for $299. I've tried through multiple vendors/reps and nobody has a release date for the other attachments. They will have a string trimmer + pole saw kit for $329, string trimmer + hedge trimmer + pole saw for $429, or everying (string, hedge, pole saw, brush cutter, edger, blower) for $629.

My understanding is Milwaukee's attachment mechanism is proprietary, so you can only use milwaukee attachments unless someone comes out with an adapter. The good thing with Dewalt's is they copied an existing mechanism that other brands use. The Ryobi Expand-it attachments work, as well as some other brands like Poulon Pro, so if Dewalt continues to fail with getting attachments to market, I might just get the power head/timmer and buy other attachments, but would rather save the $$ with one of their combo kits.

My Ryobi works with craftsman attachments. I'll probably never go back a a gas trimmer. A little less power, but no more struggling to start it.
