Shock retaining ring slipping?

    Didn’t notice this when I installed my coils this past weekend. I cleaned the grooves and verified it spun freely before adding the springs. Noticed this today while torquing my wheels. Is this something I need to worry about? 03FA3B45-8B7F-465D-ADCC-88BA8FA2409C.jpg

    Your collar is upside down. I’d fix asap. When you flip the collar to the correct position the metal ring will be trapped inside the collar preventing that from happening

    how embarrassing. I suppose that’s why the front sits so high up, and the ride feels like crap.

    Your not the first I’ve seen with this error. At least you noticed it before it potentially failed.
