Length of time between build and delivery?

Hey everybody...I've got a 21 OR DCSB on order. It has a build date of June 1 in Mexico. Anyone know the approximate time to delivery to the midwest after build? (based on recent deliveries in the last month or so)

 

My truck was built in Texas. It started being built in August of 2017 and was delivered January 2018.

I don't know if that's short or long but that's what mine took.

 

I know its a bit different for the Tacomas and 4Runners, but we ordered my wife's 4Runner Sept 14, 2020 and took delivery January 25, 2021. I would say expect to wait about 3-4 months after the projected build start date.

 

I put in my Tacoma order the first week of February. I found out two weeks ago that it's slated to be built by the end of this month, and they told me it should be ready for me by the end of June.

That's just what they told me though, so ya know, grain of salt...

 

Mine sat on the dock in Vera Cruz for almost a month after being built. (Trucks destined for the East Coast go by ship.)

 

Mine was built on April 24 and delivered to my dealer on May 15.

 

Delivery is usually 30-45 days unless it gets stuck at port

 

mine is scheduled for production 5/31. My fingers are crossed it'll land by 6/23....vacation starts 6/24. I'm not holding my breath.

My dealer was able to lock it in in early April with a proposed delivery about the end of May. I did not add any "port" installed accessories except the all weather mats so that wouldn't add any delay time either. (Most accessories are "plug-n-play" anyway.) My salesman told me that pre-sold models go to the head o the line in shipping also. (Probably everything is pre-sold right now anyway though.)
