Early in the thread “Bob” was the “Jones,” guy with the nicest stuff everyone try’s to keep up with. Was my joke too obscure or miss that part?

Gotta agree with Retired SCPO on this one! I get tired of holding the top of the coupler to the zerk with one hand and trying to pump the gun with the other. I maintain and troubleshoot an enormous amount of equipment for a small company (Coca-Cola) and this would make my job easier. I'll stick with the Lincoln at home....but this would definitely help me at work!

I put a lock N lube coupler on my grease gun, it makes it sooo much better. The only issue I had with it is the two upper ball joint zerks on my XJ are straight instead of 90 degree, so I have to remove the wheels to get to them. That's not the fault of the coupler though.Grease_Coupler_IsometricUnlocked_700px_2000x.jpg

Greg19sport, if you can access those zerks maybe you could change them out for a 90 degree zerk and grease away my friend!

Well I know this "Lube Shuttle" is really expensive for just a grease gun.
But for me over the years I had countless different grease guns and all of them would piss out oil and drip on my shop floor over time. I was willing to pay the extra cost just to keep my shop clean. Could be because I live in Hawaii and my shop gets really hot in the summer?
For me, greasing is only an occasional thing. I can't really say that this grease gun was a need.
But I can say that I'm really happy I got it.

If the cheap (Old School) Autozone guns work for you that's great!

But my post was that this is the best designed grease gun that I have been able to find so far. They fixed the leaking messy grease issue that most guns have.
If you know of a better design I'd love to see it?

On the rear grease fitting on my 2019 TRD OR's driveshaft, the Lock-N-Lube standard device would NOT fit. I removed the heat shield, tried rotating the driveshaft this way & that, held my mouth "just right", and it still said "F you!".

Ended up removing the fancy $30 Lock-N-Lube adapter & putting the standard "dumb" grease gun fitting back on. It fit onto the grease Zerk fitting with no real hassle.

Considering the "narrow needle dispenser", but...then again...WHY should I spend another $11 on top of a non-fitting $30 Lock-N-Lube grease adapter to STILL have to hold the needle into place, while pumping grease with my 3rd hand while holding the grease gun with my 2nd hand?

    Nope.

The Lock-N-Lube worked OK with my John Deere riding mower Zerk fittings, but does not do the job with my Tacoma. Oh well...
