My truck has been making a weird sound when I press the gas. And only when I try to speed up. My check engine light just cam on today and I went to get it diagnosed. The code it had given me was p0335. I am not very car savvy and could use some help. I did some research and I know it has something to do with the crank shaft sensor. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to TacomaWorld:thumbsup:
Video of the sound and engine size would help, as far as the p0335 it means the computer is losing the signal from the crankshaft position sensor.
I'd check for chaffed or broken wiring on the engine harness, do you have any stalling or driveablity issues besides the noise?

It's a 4 cylinder 2.7 liter. I'll post a video of the sound tomorrow. Yeah, it feels very sluggish but no stalling or sputtering.
