I’ve just recently had my rear leafs swapped out due to the brutal squeaking issue and at the same time I’ve added airbags.

I had a camper (~800lbs+) in the bed for a few weeks and the truck actually rode great. But holy hell when it’s empty it rides like an old dodge one ton.

I’m bouncing off every little divot on the highway empty, it’s like riding a horse!

I’m quite certain I had the mediums before, and they sent me the HDs as I said I was going to have a camper etc.

Is there a happy medium I can get to here? Pics for reference.

Could I remove a leaf and rely on the airbags to take the load? I only had them at 15 psi when I was fully loaded the last few times.

    Thanks in advance.

You can take out the over load leaf.. the bottom one that looks flat in your pic. Then rely on the air bags to keep you level.

At least that would be my first step, can not say if its right or wrong, but it's where I would start. Looks like I circled 2 leaves though. I think I would start with the top one in the circle though, but may need to switch that. I am not a leaf pack expert:cheers:
