    Good day everyone,

does anyone have a link to a walkthrough of changing motor mounts on an ‘04 PreRunner? I have seen a few YouTube videos and I just want to build a broader spectrum so I can formulate my plane of attack. Or maybe some of you have tips and tricks to make it a bit less troublesome.

    thanks!!

Just do one side at a time, shouldn't be very difficult.

Got them done. Some of the videos on YouTube are done my idiots!! Hahaha psyched myself out.

it was super easy because I’m rwd and didn’t have the front diff in the way. I actually did both at the same time.
The use of an extra long flex head worked great for the top 17mm nut and 2 14mm box ends on the driver side lowers and I had to use a universal and a 6” Extender on the passenger aide lower because the AC compressor or maybe the alternator (don’t remember what is on the bottom right there.) is in the way.

I would recommend removing the fan but I was about to turn it to a position where the blade wasn’t straight up but it still smashed into the shroud either way removing the shroud or fan blade set would prevent damage to the fan. But like I said. I got mine done without just a heads up to those who try.

i also disconnected the transmission mount to reduce the stress on bell housing and make jacking up the engine easer.
