    Howdy Y'all?
I'm curious if anyone knows of anyone or maybe has done this themselves. That is, changing the OEM D.A.I. snorkel head (Toyota part number PTR-31590-AA) to something more capable of cleaning the air entering the engine.

The main issue is obviously how to mate one, which mostly have round connections. The OEM connection is a football shape. Seems it would require some sort of a 3D printed connection mated to both shapes.

    Seen here:

Another advantage with a real Pre-Cleaner would be the ability to run the truck through a automatic wash if needed. Zero chance for birds to nest in it like they did mine.

Expensive but what is the limit for anything that outperforms any OEM part on your Tacoma?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Rob
