@Nimble9 so those rocky mounts you linked on the first page are unavailable. You have any other recommendations for a mount we could use?

It's tough, a lot of places have fork mounts out of stock right now.

Just something like them that fits your fork should work. I have a hole and a slot that should accommodate plenty of options on the market

I used these for my beach cruisers and they work perfectly with the SideRide mounts.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MDXZGMB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

My cruisers don't have QR hubs so I just keep a 14mm ratchet in the truck and I can remove them in about 30seconds. QR would be nice, but I didn't want to replace hubs on both bikes.

Those QR mounts do have an axle for mounting included and both bike forks are the slotted style and not pass thrus.

We've done about 1/2 dozen trips to the beach and all is working perfectly.

Bought and installed a few weeks ago and finally got around to posting the final product. I got them powder coated at a local place in a flat textured black. Entire install process took about 45 minutes since I slow rolled it. I have the factory Tacoma Tonneau bed cover and it fits pretty well under it. The bottom left latch doesn't close completely, but that's because I have 29" tires so the back tire tray is too close to the latch. I think smaller tires won't have that issue since you will be able to move the tire tray farther up. I bought the Rocky Mount fork mount that locks. Amazon link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019709IBU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I've used it a dozen times so far and it's extremely easy to use and makes traveling much easier.

    thanks for the mention, @ajmogen

as AJ said, i've just launched a new product that seems like a perfect companion to the SideRide, to secure your wheel when it's not mounted in the bike. fits in the stock utility rails. I'd be happy to answer any questions or help you guys get set up. feel free to DM me.

Hey there, I was just going through old posts looking for photos, but I just realized something!

You could slide that rear mount up to clear, and just have more of a rear bias on the rear mount. Then the rear most slot can be used to strap the rear tire down!

Finally mounted these bad boys. I really love them! I still use my old set up when we take the whole family.

Thank you! I love the side mounts a lot. Trying to figure out how to make them work with my cap on.

I was super excited to getting my new bike rack. Turns out, I received somebody else’s order. Currently in the process of making this right.

What I ordered: 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma driver side
What I got: 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma Diamondback bed cover passenger side

My apologies! Monday I'll be sending you your ordered mount and emailing you return label for the incorrect one!

Got these powder coated in Jan/Feb. finally had a moment to mount them for a trip. Easy install under my Softopper rails. I’ll be mounting the kid’s bikes up top on the Prinsu once I decide what kinda mounts I want to use. Probably going to take all this off, swap out the plastic bed rails with metal ones from KB Voodoo, then put everything back on. Everything is solid after 300 miles. Only mod I had to do was slide my ARB awning forward so the driver front mount doesn’t encroach on the tent room when I deploy it.
