Years ago I gave a presentation to Cub Scouts about tools.

Me: Do you guys know why you learn metric?
Kids: Rest of the world uses it, easier, based on 10s, yada-yada...
Me: No fellas, the real reason you learn metric is to confuse people my age. :anonymous:

Welcome! I got to stay away from the "what have you done to your 3rd gen" thread, it's costing me money and I haven't had it two weeks yet

I've also gotten a couple of really nice gifts for it from some friends here too :D

You just need to develop a really good "will I actually use that" filter when you go in there.

    Freebies don't hurt, either!

I’m double chucked today with a .070” drill bit. I can’t say what this is though, it’s a one off custom project for a major company :spy:

That's one of the things that I've seen and though, yeah, I'd actually use that. But it's not as easy on a '19.

I’m blaming this thread for the 2 near misses of eating bugs today.
    1) First thing this morning, I was about to take a sip of water from my tumbler which lives on my desk. Luckily I looked, as a bunch of super tiny sugar ants decided to commit suicide in my water last night.
    2) I was walking through the shop and went to say something to a welder when a gnat flew into my mouth, luckily I was able to spit it out! :puke:

I was mountain biking a few months ago, opened my mouth to holler some directions to a buddy, and at about 20mph had a fly ram-airred down my throat.

Worst part was it stuck right around my adams apple, and I could feel it wiggling around still. Managed to come to a complete stop right as my gag reflex kicked in and I threw up all over the side of the trail.
