    Hi guys and gals,

So I’m a complete noob to the truck world however have been looking at lifting my 2017 double cab short bed Tacoma. I’m planning on running 285/70/17s for wheels and already have my skids and rock sliders on the way. I’m also planning on a bumper/winch upfront and possibly a bumper in the back. I’m looking for a midline 2-3 inch lift without absolutely breaking the bank. The truck is my daily driver yet will see mild to moderate off-road use in the Tahoe & NorCal areas. Any advice is greatly appreciated for the lift and any recommendations regarding UCAs.

Be ready for a 4-5 mpg drop. Other than that you'll probably want gears after you're done with all that. Plan ahead and you'll be happy.
