I can’t seem to find any manual, paintable side mirrors for my taco. Can I replace them with power side mirrors instead and just not hook up the wiring? I’ve looked everywhere locally and online and most manual, paintable mirrors are out of stock. Also, anyone know of any other trucks that have side mirrors to fit a 2003 TRD Taco? Thanks in advance for your help

Your truck do what you please!!

The only one to concern is yourself .

As for other mirrors it all depends how you describe fit.I know some were looking at the Dodge Durango mirrors not sure what years

    I had mid-eighties Ford mirrors on a 4Runner.

The only issue with not wiring up power mirrors is adjusting them. You'll have you push against the glass and force the glass to jump the gears move em.

If you're painting them yourself you can scuff the plastic with a scotch Brite gray scuff pad, clean it with wax/grease remover, wipe down with a tack cloth, hit it with SEM 39863 (adhesion promoter for plastic), prime, seal, paint, clear.

If you're OK with aftermarket mirrors -

I got my mirrors from a 2004 Tacoma, they were power mirrors,

I did not wire them up,
Yes they work fine and for adjustment you just push the inside lens to were you need,

The lens will click for each position

If you have multiple drivers then it might be an issue.

If it’s just you your good to go,
These are 2004 electric mirrors on my 1997 at I adjust manually if needed

If you get the aftermarket ones they tend to rattle,

If you can find a set of used OEM ones and paint them your better off

The newer mirrors have a break away design so they can fold flat and pop back to their original position and this doesn’t effect the adjustment of the inside mirror in the housing
