Are the spyder headlights and Tacoma beast headlights the same?

I was looking into switching my stock headlights on my 15 Tacoma, to the led bar projector style lights from Tacoma beast or spyder. I was wondering if anyone new how similar they are or if they are the same headlight?

@crashnburn80 already linked his definitive guide to upgrading stock housings. I did it before I got my retrofits and was very pleased.

If you want cool looking lights, find a custom retrofit shop that rebuilds OEM housings and does the work properly. I now have a set of those with LED projectors and they’re great.

You usually get what you pay for with these things kinda things. Cheap Spyders will give you cheap performance.

    Updates to come...
Just to echo what's been said and when it comes to headlights, quality, etc. OEM will almost always be best (quality, output, etc.), unless you do a proper rebuild by a retrofitter and that is pricey. I personally did the "ultimate headlight" update from @crashnburn80 and for cheaper than the "cool" headlights ($110 for the harness and $30 for the bulbs), you get the best output for the truck. I did the same on my '10 4R and would highly recommend this route. If you can turn a wrench and follow lego instructions, you can do the mod

If you're looking for additional DRL lighting, then I'd either say go for the grill marker light approach or some osram DRL LED kits.

    happy modding!

+1 on the "Ultimate Headlight Mod" - night and day difference over OEM stock.
