So im trying to setup my Compustar Remote Starter on my 2021 6 speed Tacoma

Ive gotten to the point i can get everything to work

    BUT...

with the relay i have connected for some reason the HUD and gas gauge stops working. So my solution is that i need something in the fuse panel under the dash that has power only prior to ignition (if that even exists)

i followed a couple of other threads on here to get this far but have run into another roadblock unfortunately

the way i have it wired up currently

RELAY PIN 85 & 30 Jumped together going to Empty Slot on Fuse Panel that provides constant 12V (here lies the issue) Once i remove the power to pin 30 gauges come back and work normally

    RELAY PIN 87 > Compustar
RELAY PIN 86 > CLUTCH START CANCEL button tapped YELLOW wire

I was thinking i can possibly wire in a switch to interrupt the constant power going to the relay but wanted to see if anyone else had any different insight to a solution

i attempted to wire it as shown below but determined that i had to swap 86 & 87 for it to work

Yellow wire intercept provides fused power to close starter relay coil to close it and send fused power through it to the starter solenoid. (bypassing Clutch Start Cancel Switch) C7.

For remote start? I mean that would be a feat.
The remote start would require constant on in order to perform the duty.

so that fuse would be for my kill switch because the way the relay is working kills the fuel gauge and HUD so i if i can fuse it to something with power only on Key power i can leave the switch on without worrying about it being live all night

    Fuse? or relay?
Most likely you have tapped the source wires wrong. Instead of branching off the circuit you tapped, you are cutting the circuit. We would need to see the source circuit tap you have.

Also, the kill switch should be placed on the yellow wire going TO the starter relay.
