I have a 2014 DCSB Tacoma stock with 18x7.5 6x5.5 lug spacing and +25 offset and I would like to go outside the fenders about an inch or so but I’m a little confused about how to do it as I just purchased a set of new tires Toyo open country 265/60r18 that I needed badly but would like to buy new wheels, thanks in advance for any ideas and suggestions. Thanks again

Wheels with negative or less offset pushes them out. Or wheel spacers would work too and you could keep your stock wheels

It helps to understand offset. +25 offset is distance in mm, less offset pushes the wheel out. Going to a 0 offset will push the wheel out 25mm, or about 1" (25.4mm/inch). Also factor wider wheels, a wheel that is 1" wider will be a 1/2" wider on each side.

In addition to offset, that depends on tire size, wheel width and how "square" the transition between the tread and sidewall is. And trust me, tires of the exact same size differ in dimensions from manufacturer to manufacturer. (Sometimes even within a given manufacturer.)

    This will help:

I'd strongly recommend not doing that if possible; the paint on these trucks, especially some of the colors like black, tends to chip pretty easily. No idea where you are but it's also illegal in some states since it can sling road debris on other vehicles.

Looks like you have a Limited with the 18" wheels and have put the stock size tires on them. Not a bad thing. I've looked at aftermarket wheels for my truck but you are somewhat limited (no pun intended) since you have already purchased 18" tires. Most of the desirable wheels come in 16 and 17. I find the stock Limited wheels tend to place the tire near the fenders edge with a square tire such as the AT3 4s (as compared to my winter 16's). Spacers would push them out but with that comes the issues mentioned above. If the bling is not you're thing members have plasti-coated the chrome to tone it down.

    Cheers

Hello,if I switched over to a 17 inch wheel what would be the largest tire I can put on
    Stock.
