Hey guys, I'm brand new here and this is my first post on the site. My wife and I are waiting on delivery of our new '21 TRD Sport short bed and are trying to get some things pre-ordered in preparation. I was looking at getting the KB Voodoo 14" bed rack but had some worries about the size of RTT I can put up there.

We currently have the Tepui Kukenam Sky 3 which is 56" in length. The KB Voodoo rack is 58" in length so I know that will work fine. However, we wanted to upgrade to the Tepui Autana 4 because the Kukenam Sky 3 is too small for us with two kids. The Autana 4 is 72" in length. Is there a way to safely mount that on the 58" bed rack? Is it ok for the RTT to hang over the front and back edges a few inches on each side? Looking at the pictures on the KB voodoo site, it looks like there is a bit of space between the front of the rack and the truck cab, maybe 6" or so. The rest of the extra 14" would have to hang over the back of the rack.

Have any of you had a similar issue, and if so, how did you solve it? Will I need to get a taller rack so that the RTT can hang over the cab? Are there other racks that may better suit my needs? I don't really like the look of having the bed rack flush with the cab, but I may be limited on my options.

Honestly, if you want a 72" long tent, a short bed Tacoma is not the right truck for you.
