Little bit of this and that
Finally fixed the overhead compass/temp display that's been inop since I bought the truck in 2019. Shout out to @Taco 422 for 47ohm resistors to do the fix. Works great, hardest part of it was keeping my hand steady to solder the resistors to the board.

Putting the my leafs back in tonight or tomorrow. I have some energy suspension shackle bushings.. Should I leave the OEM bushings in, or replace with the Energy Suspension ones?

Not to the truck but for the truck.
I ordered a small step stool so it's easier to reach stuff at the back of the engine compartment.
The lift made it difficult, before the lift it was fine.

I'll be doing a valve cover gasket tomorrow and we will see if the stool helps.

Couple days late posting this but did a discreet dash cam install (Thinkware F200) with front and back cameras. Cables are all tucked into the head liner and hardwired the power in so the only thing visible is the cameras themselves. Front cam is tucked behind the rearview with cables run up through the factory housing after some small trimming as the factory housing is pretty tight. Back cam is hidden behind the headrest of the rear seat with the cable run behind the seats and through the headliner to the front camera. The cameras connect to my phone from an app so no need for the screens a lot of cams have. Overall super happy with how it turned out and picture quality is pretty damn good for the pricepoint ($200 CAD). Took maybe an hour to get the whole setup installed. You can see the front cam front the exterior if you look closely but the rear one is totally obstructed by the tint on the back window.

    Easy peasy.
Fits in a small bag and came with a panel for one side.
I happed to have eye bolts on my rack so it attached with supplied d rings.
It also came with 2 long bungies.
    Only uses 2 stakes.

I know this mod has been beaten to death but I'm super stoked with the result.

    :deadhorse:

Now to sand and paint the clips and cover the flare holes.

Fiiiiinallly got my suspension fixed. I’ve been bouncing around for way too long on 3” blocks since I bought my truck and said I’d swap them out right away.

So 3-ish years later, I finally got the icon stage 4 kit on and man what a difference. It was so bad before that I can even feel a drastic improvement in shifting now. Just wish it hadn’t taken so long. I think it’s just sitting a bit lower.

I have one of those as well. It has held up well and fits nicely behind the passenger side back seat. We use it mostly to get into the back when using the truck bed drawer/sleeping platform.

Approaching 100,000 miles, figure I’d get on some preventative maintenance, total coolant replacement, new water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt and a TRD cat-back exhaust with gasket, because I haven’t spent a dime of my stimulus money yet.D9D86A29-4D03-45CB-8D35-BEA8AA3A94F2.jpg

drove roughly 2460 miles from PA to central Idaho in 2 1/2 days, so of course I had to take a scenic pic. I'll update in the next few weeks when I get back to PA.

I used a dry bag with a shoulder strap.
    Rinse your windows with ease.
Came with an actual shower head too.
