Hey whats up guys! Wanted to introduce myself a bit. Have had two tacomas, a 2010 SR5 that I built up and now a 2020. Most of my off road time I spend alone with a couple friends but none of them have a 4x4 so they usually ride with me so it isn't as fun as when you have your own rig and your following a group.
I joined this forum because I want to make friends in this community in my area, people I can meet that are down to go explore new places and not afraid to get their taco/runner/jeep..ext.. dirty. So far I've done over 15 different trails in socal, from "Valley of the moon" to pioneer town to Baldwin lake via burns canyon, down to Cleghorn and lytle creek ext.. all the popularonesyou can find on YouTube, I've been doing a lot of yellow post camping and dispersed camping as well, I'm just tiered of being the only taco on the trail I'd love to meet a group I can join on this trips for local runs. Since you seem adept at planning your own trail runs, make your plans, post the date/time, lay out expectations and you will for sure get people to join you! I hope to see you out on the trail and look for the Fiesta Island meet because you'll meet lots a folks there from here.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m not great at planning runs or knowing where to go, but if you throw up some logistics I’d roll!

 

I'd definitely follow you out to some trails, I'm in a stock 4runner these days but I have an itch to get it dirty!

but put me that boat, because I should be good to go on some trail runs, I got my LCAs and tie rods replaced, so I'm down for a tester trail.

I have visited Anza-Borrego/Ocotillo Wells twice in the last month. I'll go again if folks want to go. Super hot this time of year. Diablo drop off, sandstone canyon, etc. Tons of trails to explore.

 

Been looking to get back out there, looks like I’m waiting till fall at this point.
