Finally picked mine up at the dealership after an almost 3 month wait! So far, so good. About to head back home so I spent 45 min in a parking lot with scotch tape masking off the front bumper to keep it pristine until my clear bra appt this Friday.

Oh yeah, I wasted no time picking up the 2021 4Runner TRD Pro 17" wheels all of 30 min after I got the truck. They’ll be wrapped in Michelin 265/70/17 LTX A/T2s on Wednesday.

Waited till I drove from Socal to AZ today to remove the SX decals (they peeled right off) + installed Seat Jackers for the 6hr drive. It really helped!

I got a set of "removed very early on" 2005-2015 TRD Black Carpet mats that I want to give to someone who will use them. I just can't bring myself to pitch them. So I wrote a note on a piece of paper to put under someone's wiper blade to give them away next time I park and see a 2nd Gen close to me. So far I have not located anyone but I figure if they don't contact me within a week make another note to give them to someone else. Trying to do it in my town so we can just meet somewhere to hand them off. Allen, TX.

I looked around for some aftermarket pro style wheels, and anything relatively close we about the same price. They were typically heavier, and had different setback and offset as well. I ended up getting the TRD pro wheels from a dealer for about 800. I know they are made for Toyota and are the best quality, so it's was a no brainer. If that's what you want, I suggest getting the real McCoy.

I’d probably laugh at you taping off the front, but when I picked up my 2nd gen a big bug hit the chrome (plastic) trim around the grill on my way home and put a big crack in it. Bothered me until the day I sold it.

“Still installing” These S.O.B.’s are rough. 3 bloody fingers, 2 shots of 101 and 4 beers in...what a pain, but dam they look good.

As long as we're doing story time...
I actually bought a spare set of trd off road carpet floor mats from eBay after I bought my truck new. They're still in the wrapper sitting on a shelf. I almost ordered the trd pro ones for fun, but thought it might be frowned upon. Having the rubber floor mats in our 4runner I can finally appreciate them much more. On a side note, I did make chicken chow mien and potstickers from scratch last night. Oh, boy was it tasty. I can eat those things by the bucket full.;) :threadjacked:

Traded my 2019 SR to a 2021 TRD off road. They gave me lots of money for my SR.

I'm going to have to try STUBBS. I've always used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce and yes Chick-Fil-A does have some awesome sauces as well.

That would be so badass to find a bag of blackout screws in my bed! You could call yourself the "Blackout Fairy" (much cooler than truck fairy, IMO) and own it like a champ.
