Chemists are good people to know! Funny you mention the glassware, I have a set of very nice water glasses that were wedding presents, they have a ton of scale and hard water deposit on them from our old house that had a cheap crappy water softener. The water here is pretty hard. I’ve tried everything to remove it including CLR, Affresh in the dishwasher, and even the glass cooktop cleaning paste. Nothing works. They look terrible. We can’t even use them for company. If I ever discover a solution that works, I’d throw a party.

Might be time to up the acid game. Pick up a bottle of 32% Muriatic acid (swimming pool store should have it) and dilute 5x in a lidded homer bucket. So in a 5 gallon pail, 1/2 gallon acid plus 2 gallons water. Wear rubber dish gloves. After diluting it will still be a 2 molar acid with a pH of 0.1. This can cause burns, so treat it carefully, rinse hands thoroughly before taking off gloves. Soak glasses overnight in the bucket, then liberally rinse, wash with dawn, and dry.

I would be surprised if that wont knock the hard water scale.

The guy I bought the truck from was missing all the fingers on one hand. Seem strung out on drugs or just really sketchy, must have had hookers a lot in the truck. Why did I buy this from him Im such an idiot. I have an ozone generator what an amazing idea, it wont damage anything?

Baking soda is next for the seats. I cleaned the carpet with it, but man its cheaply made. I'm kinda questioning the build quality, its different than ones made in Japan but thats another thread.

Owns an ozone generator, asks us if it's safe.

Sure guy, perhaps not while driving though...

Oh I meant safe on the upholstery. Its not good for humans to have prolonged exposure to ozone.
But ozone has always been amazing at killing smells.

Ozone generator is what hotels use in non-smoking rooms if someone did smoke in it.

NokOut. It's very similar to what we use to get rid of natural gas odorant which is incredibly strong.
