My buddy gave me some solar LED lights for the RTT. We do it fancy whenever possible.

I've been looking into these I love this set up and they are EXTREMELY well built! do you think the Ali-Cab RTT would fit on a LEER shell with full Prinsu over shell/cab?

Just a bunch of old crap
It will definitely fit except you need to remember that your bed and cab flex independently when on uneven road. The tent is rigid. I would not recommend mounting it to these 2 separate racks.

Well I've been following this thread and have made up my mind...

    IMG_0410.jpg

Unboxed the tent and set it up on the garage floor to check it out and look for hidden damage or missing parts. I'm really impressed with the tent and its quality:thumbsup:
The first one in to try the tent out for size and comfort was my wife...got the approval. Now, I have 4 tents; one two person bivy tent, a three person 4 season backpacking tent, a larger 3 person 4 season tent with vestibule, and the High Country RTT. A tent for every occasion.

    Looking forward to camping.

I just saw the hitch mounted solution for a RTT. I have to admit, I might not have bought my trailer if that was available two years ago.

Looks like a great solution if you aren't going to do any serious wheeling.

This is a great idea to just drop camp and go! Too bad it probably wouldn’t work with a swing out

I just came across the group by days after I placed my order. So bummed I missed the discount. I received my topper and trying to install it. Do I have to drill into the metal of my truck bed to secure the Velcro?

You don't have to but I would recommend it. That is what the self tappers are for. One in each corner by the tailgate. How long ago did you place the order?

Ok thanks! I placed my order last week with Cristi over the phone, she was nice enough to give me the the uninsulated price for the new insulated material but I wished I would have seen this group discount earlier!

Does anyone know if they have a rooftop tent out that has some type of direct access to the bed, a cutout or some sort? I feel like that is going to be the best way to get my big dogs up into the tent if I'm even able to.

When hotel prices range from $300-$600 per night along your delivery routes, a RTT looks cheap all of a sudden.. :annoyed:
