Hi we just got our first new Tacoma and are planing a Ebike trip. My thoughts were to use the 110 in the bed of the truck to charge the battery while the truck is not running. Everything works fine except the marker lights stay on the truck because I have to push the start button twice to turn the 110 outlet on. This doesn't make sense to me. I must be doing something wrong because the the truck battery would go dead because of the lights.

The truck battery will also go dead charging your bike with the engine off.

I don’t want to come off as a prick.
But I too was highly disappointed with the outlets capabilities.

    IMO, it ain’t worth much.
IIRC, it will allow for just over 3.5 amp.
Uhhh, that’s is much. I found that out the first time I “tried” to use mine.
And that only in P or N. Forget about using it in any other gear. It think it drops to like 100w then?
