Hey guys I’m PCSing (military) to West Point in December of this year. Are there any shops near there that have a good reputation? I’m going to do a cross country trip from Cali to NY and picking up mods along the way. But I wanted to see if there was a shop that I could finish out some modifications once we arrive in NY.

Super excited to live in NY again. It’s such a beautiful area with rich history. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Good morning. I don't know anyone immediately nearby (Highland/Fort Montgomery, etc.) but about 35~40 min east of there is an excellent mechanic who I have used for over ten years. He used to me a Toyota mechanic and really knows his stuff. Pm me for info. Thank you for your service and good luck and stay safe on your trip. I have a son active duty - with a Tacoma as well! Once you are here, hit me upon if i can be of any help with anything.

If you don't mind stopping in NJ I highly recommend this place
    https://liquidironindustries.com/

Then you can make the final ~2 hr trip with all the mods on the truck

I don’t mind NJ, now once I’m back in NY I’m sure I’ll re-acquire my hatred for NJ lol. I lived in LI back from 02-03 and hated coming through NJ on my trip from Ohio.

sure! I’ve been in that area back in 2014, but I’m looking for anything that will help me get off-road.
