Got a new canopy truck cap. Does it look ok?

Way better way of saying it. Your truck is to nice for a poorly fitting shell.
I won't look at the rangers. The ones that actually fit a first gen are typically to long.

I agree, that fits, sort of, have you gone 70 mph with it yet?
Don't paint it, spend that money on one that fits properly. I dunno.

 

The combination needs a white stripe "somewhere". The light bar suggests it, and almost does it. RW&B is a great combination.

 

The way it doesn't line up to the cab would bug me.. but sometimes you just need a canopy to secure gear.

Canopies are expensive.. hell, anything that can be bolted onto a tacoma is expensive these days

If it works for you that's all that matters

 

The way it sticks out is a big no go for me. I’d rock it but don’t paint it. Hold out for a proper Tacoma one... I’m sure that thing drags down the MPGS on the highway with basically an air dam
