Plans to hit this milestone at a mountain top were thwarted, but I was able to catch the odometer at the right time! Love this truck.

    Too much.
3rd brake light. Again. Used mold killer, vinegar etc. Lots of airing out.

    I have one similar.
A suggestion to keep water from pooling and the tonneau from flapping at highway speeds is to install 3/4" pipe wrap around the supports.

I haven’t had a issue with it pooling. Also it’s held up well considering the speeds I drive.

Well I never thought I would let go of my loyal 2018 Sport but I couldn't pass on a great offer.

I traded in my 2018 4x4 long bed white sport with ONLY 4,200 miles for a new 2021 4x4 long bed off road (both w/pretty much the same options including tech package). The dealer accepted to give me 40k for my trade and sold me the new one for $39,700 ($40200 - $500 Toyota rebate). Long story short, it was an even swap, I only ended up paying $660 OTD for my registration BUT I will be receiving a refund from the DMV for $148 for my 2018 registration.

I took off all of my customs (shocks, tires, predator steps, grill) from my 2018 before trading it in and returned it bare stock. I even traded the sports hood! Will be putting on all the customs to the new truck this week.

I did have to drive out of town to Northern AZ from Tucson (Southern AZ) for the deal at a dealership up north.

BUT THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT COMES UP! Guess what? My battery was dead the second day I tried to drive it! I couldn't take it to the shop today because of memorial day but I am scheduled at our local Toyota dealer tomorrow for service, I am guessing I will get a new battery? The car cranks when trying to start it and starts right away after a jump. Drives perfectly fine once it starts. The truck only has 300 miles now, I am really hoping its just the battery!

Below are some before and after pictures.

You know, There is a buck to be made by anyone who can change that inclinometer to display "ROCK and Roll"! ;-)

Whoa! That IS a good trade up! +/- $2K and you get a 3 year newer rig. I would have a hard time saying no to that.

Looking at the "build-a-Tacoma" sight today. It appears the Access cab is no longer available.

    Out of stock?
    Supply and demand?

I'm glad I got my MT AC LB ...before .

I never really liked the built in Clinometer that Toyota put in the display, its so damned tiny and wasn't very nice graphically - so I use the Smittybilt app for the iPhone and the Rokform mount for the Rokform iPhone case. Works great, and has two different orientations I can use *AND* it's a bigger screen - *AND* you can customize the color of the car or type of car or truck.

Got it back from the fuel pump recall. Also had a wheel alignment and new battery installed.

In the market now for new AT tires as I approach 40,000.

78 FJ40. It's got a little rust on it, but it's fairly original and runs pretty well. OEM wheels and KO2s are next up for it and then maybe a little body work. Thanks for checking her out.
