    Hi everyone,

I'm looking to end my lease on my Tundra in February. The Tundra has been great its just too big for my needs.
I do need to be able 5o get through severe weather on roads being a volunteer first responder.
So I am debating between a trd offroad premium or limited.
For on road driving in deep snow does the rear locker really help that much?
I plan on putting really good tires.on it for whatever weather throws at me.

    Thanks everyone

Rear locker only works in 4Lo at very slow speeds.

I run falken wild peaks on my 4x4 sport and it’s great in the snow. If I were pulling someone or something out, or I ended up stuck, then the locker might be nice.

If your Tundra got you where you needed to go, the taco without a locker should do the same.

All i can say my 2020 sr5 with the same tire i took off my gen1 tundra and put them on my tacoma....the tacoma performs far better in snow, especially in 2wd. Its almost comparable to the tundra when in 4wd. Using the tacoma in 4wd is simply awesome.
