Cancelling Toyota Extra Care Platinum and Prepaid Maintenance

Same thing here with my purchase a couple months ago. Negotiated only, signed papers, and out in 20 min. The process went well since the finance guy knew that i was set on my price and that an extended warranty was hard no.

 

I got an update for y'all!!

I GOT THIS SH** CANCELLED!!!!!!! The money has now been refunded to the Car loan's principle amount. Thank God for printed contracts and fine print. PLEASE READ ALL THE FINE PRINT PEOPLES!

Anyways, screw the dealership for finagling people into getting these stupid warranties.

Cool. Got my wifes Carolla back from the paint shop yesterday and went straight to the dealership and cancelled hers. I paid cash for the car so the checks coming to me . 2200 will buy a lotta oil changes.

Holy sh*t . Yeah , i was a truck driver and didn't want her to get broke down or stranded , so she got it. After a while i wasn't on the road as much and knew i had to get that crap cancelled.

 

Anybody have luck canceling via phone call?
I tried going in and they told me to call an 800 number to cancel..

 

The first "No" is free...
The second "No" is a courtesy in case you didn't hear the first "No"
The third "No" will cost you (walking out the finance/warranty office), and beyond if they persist and they do get pissy! Who cares...

I also do NOT start dealing until they give back my keys on my trade!!!

Right now, they do have more control due to lack of supply and increased demand. That WILL change. Wanted to trade my 2017 for 2021 but I'll wait for 2022.
