EAD8711E-3688-42D2-8A45-20979A45C3BB.jpg I want to wire my LED bar separate from anything else. The only question I have is on previous vehicles I have been able to use a wire coat hanger or ice pick and poke through the rubber grommet where all the electric goes through the firewall.(see pic). Before I start poking just want to make sure this is acceptable to do and won’t damage anything. Looking from inside cab looks to be straight shot. Wiring it is no biggie just want to be sure my plan of poking the grommet is ok.

    thanks!

Place your hand on the grommet, with fingers feel for a nipple at the 6 'o'clock position.

Yes. Snip on the line and tape stub and wires.

There is a unused grommet behind the brake master cylinder that I just accessed today, for my Roadshock LED bar wiring harness. Just need to cut a slit in the padding on the other side in the cab, and then fish it through.
