srs problem

    hi I've been stalking this site for awhile before joining I see a lot of talent here. I'm steve, I have an 04 taco, 5lug, base, 4cyl ext cab. hope someone can help, I get a bo138 trouble on my srs. is there anyone that can refer me to troubleshoot instructions for this? thank you.

    reset the srs code now it's ok, guess I will have to induce the problem. tried pulling the seat belt a lot, stomping on the floorboard, next I will check for oxidation at the terminals, thank you.

    checked the terminals looked shiny, no visible corosion, guess I will have to wait on it until the trouble won't clear.

    well, just wondering, does an srs problem show up immediately or does it have to go through a similar test like the evap system? thanks.

    Thats a great question considering I currently have an evap code up. I can clear it and it will take a day or 2 to show back up.

    I would think for safety reasons it will probably show back up within a few miles.
