Confirm Trans and Diff oil capacity?

Got 3 different answers. Dealership, Oreilly’s, da net.
2003 Tacoma. 22RZ-PE engine. Base cab, manual 2 wheel rear drive. 2.4L. I believe it’s 2.6 qts. for the trans and 1.35 qts. for the differential. I gave Oreilly’s all my vehicle specs and they came up with 2.9 qts. for the diff(?).
My base cab and year is the only one that uses

$29 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90 for both(btw). The trans needs 2.6 qts. I’m pretty sure about that. And the diff needs 1.35 qts.(?).
So…5 qts. total?
Using my iphone and the manual print is pretty small.

 

All those capacities are based on the "fill it till it leaks" method. Where you fill the trans on a level surface until the fluid comes out from the fill hole. A lot of people buy the mt-90 5 gallon jug to do the MT trucks so they probably don't measure specifically. Sorry I don't know the specific capacity either. I had a 95 and filled both diffs with some Mobil1 fluid, from what I remember I bought 4-5 of them just in case.

 

According to the manual from the Toyota website.
I think you have the Quarts and Liters mixed up (but it pretty close either way)
I get 1.4 for the Diff
And 2.7 for the Trans

Liter is BEFORE the “( )”
Quarts is the 1st one AFTER the “( )”

 

Thanks for reading that small print for me. I’m taking it in to a local good shop for a simple drain and fill of both. I’m figuring 5 qrts. should be enough for them to accomplish the job. I’ll buy one more if you recommend doing so. This one small reputable shop should save me over $100 over other shops for a simple drain and fill. Says I can bring in my own gear oil. 5 qts. should do it. Technically, you should only need 4.1
1 extra can’t hurt. Take it back it you need too.

I usually only buy what I need.
But I do have access to a different vehicle if I need to make a “parts run”
