Anyone running a 1000W pure sine wave inverter from Eastwood? My SR5 doesn't have the factory inverter so I've been looking st putting one in.

How does the ‘Remote’ feature work?

Seeing the receptacles are part of the case, what’s your plan to install?

The remote is just a on/off power button for the inverter.
My plan would be to mount under one of the front seats then running a 110v receptacle in the bed off of it.

Are you looking to run a dual battery setup?

No. Mine being a SR5 I'd have to put them both side by side in the original battery location. That's a lot of weight. I'm running a Northstar 27F battery now. Its something like 950amh rated.

There was a good write-up of a dual battery setup using a motorcycle battery as the primary starer battery, with a very efficient (albeit a tad pricey) isolator/power switch. The motorcycle battery will always be charged and then charged directly from the other battery, with the lager battery dedicated primarily for the inverter. Article is not loading completely, but this may be a good route without using two heavy full sized batteries. You could mount one battery in the bed.

There seem to be a lot of brands for 1000W pure sine inverters, around the same price. Any reason the Eastwood? Is it the size, or highly rated? I have a Xantrex 1500 W that I never installed. Its just too big, would have to be mounted in the bed, and its modified sine. More wattage than I need, and its not pure sine, so I m thinking of getting a 1000w pure like you. See how it runs off my battery, and then adding an isolator and second battery if necessary.

I just seen it and they were having a sale so the price was good. Was also looking at the Wagan 1000W pure sine wave as a option

Actually the Eastwood had the smallest dimensions of the ones I looked at, which is good for mounting under the seat
