Just within the past week I've started to notice vibration while on the interstate. Generally about 60 mph and it's the whole truck, doesn't seem to be limited to one area and also seems like it gets slightly worse when I lift off the pedal and it's slowing. Definitely not brakes and it isn't noticeable when driving around town, only once the speed gets up.

I have noticed a very slight sound when driving very slow, (like up my driveway) , it's like a wheelbarrow wheel squeaking almost.

I'd like to have some idea of what to look for and don't want to just take it to a shop before I look at things myself.

The squeal you mentioned sounds like a carrier bearing. You could try lubing it up and if the sound goes away you could start there. How old are your hubs.. Wheel bearings? What tires are you running. I've heard wild peaks causing that around the same speed and I have a slight vibe between 62-65 but passengers say they can't feel it.We're the tires road force balanced?

I'll definitely get under and lube all parts of the drive shaft. The left hub is a couple years old, right side is original (175,000 miles). Tires are michelin defender ltx's with about 6 mm of tread depth, I think I had them installed in 2018, maybe 2019? No idea how they were balanced at the time.

Last thing you changed was rotating the tires right? Maybe check if a wheel balancing weight fell off - wouldn't explain the squeaking but might explain the vibrations.

I agree with the others on the squeak - check u-joints, wheel bearings, carrier, etc. My money would be that if you only did the tire rotation, and if you used an impact to take off the lugs, maybe it vibrated a wheel bearing that was on it's way out and triggered the squeak. Or not, who knows maybe it was aliens.

I get a vibration right around 75/80 MPH. Passenger seat shakes something fierce and the left rear seat belt vibrates against the plastic side. Probably need to check all the same culprits.

Got under the truck this weekend and greased all the drive shaft fittings, the definitely helped with the squeak and a little with the vibration. Weird thing though, the u-joint nearest the carrier bearing doesn't have any grease fittings?? I have one in the very rear, nearest the pumpkin, and one all the way up front, and 2 on the front drive shaft. But the u-joints that connect the 2 parts of the drive shaft are all sealed, no fittings at all. That seems wrong to me???

I'm gonna be that guy that keeps saying the same thing in every thread, just in case it helps somebody.
If you have wheel balancing issues, try balance beads inside the tire.
Not airsoft pellets or BBs. These are super tiny ceramic coated steel balls, like grain of sand small.
They constantly re-balance for every speed/condition, even when your rims are packed with mud.
I tried them when I installed my 255/80r17 skinny cooper st maxx load E's, and now I have 6 oz of them in each of my 285/75r17 Toyo ATIII load C's. I love them. The only possible downside is you'd need an extra bag of them in case you got a patchable puncture flat, and when you get new tires. I think I pay about $15 per wheel for 6 oz Dyna Bead bags from http://innovativebalancing.com/
Their website is missing a security certificate or something, so sometimes there is a warning when you navigate to the site, but i've purchased from them several times with no issues.

I forgot to come back here to wrap up the solution, my vibes ended up being a bad wheel bearing. Replaced it and no more vibration.

NEW QUESTION: I replaced the hub/bearing, greased all the available u-joint fittings, and also put a little grease between my leaf springs as they were starting to squeak. I've eliminated all the forward noises but I still here a squeak when backing up that is definitely speed related. Any ideas what this could possibly be?

Rotational squeak? Universal joints if yes. Only audible at low speeds

That's what I was thinking, but why if I've just regreased them? Possible I missed a fitting?

Possible that the ujoint is just worn out and greasing them didnt help. The best way to check is to pull the driveshaft and check each of them for play. Sometimes it'll look like they're ok with the driveshaft on the truck, but once it's out the problem is more apparent
