    It's currently listed as "Tacoma - 2017 – 2020 - Early September 2017 - Mid-September 2019 production dates"

It has expanded in the past though and could again.

Done! Truck still runs. Will crawl under it tomorrow and have a look around. Was dark when I picked it up but it got me home without stalling so that's a good sign

I received a letter similar to this in the mail but I’m in Canada, must be North American wide. Is this certain years or vin#s or all ‘17+?

Watching out for this on my 2017 MT OR DCSB - hoping to get in on the action! I believe my build date was sometime in June or august 2016 (bought 09/16)

There was an initial letter earlier this year stating the issue and parts/fix was not available yet. But, jist recently the fix letter came out. I got my letter, and had a service coming up in a few weeks anyway. While at the service appointment, they ordered the new pump and when it came in I got a call. Scheduled a drop off, later that day it was done.

My truck is going in for recall tomorrow. I have an aftermarket amp rack installed behind driver side rear seat cubby. Will this be an issue? Last thing I want to hear is, "hey we can't perform the job due to your aftermarket amp being in the way". How do they access the fuel pump, from within the cab under the rear seat? Do need to need to remove the rear seat bottom or do they just flip the seat forward?

It's an in-tank pump. They will access it by dropping the fuel tank (which is why the letter suggests bringing the truck in with less rather than more fuel in the tank). Your aftermarket amp is fine.

Ahh, I thought they may peel back the carpet under the rear seat to access the fuel pump. So they drop the tank entirely while the truck is on the lift. I purposely have 1/8 tank. I should be good to go. Dropping her off overnight.

    Hey, Folks.

I just got word that the LPFP recall has been expanded, again. This time for more 2016 and 2017 Tacos.

Keep an eye out or check toyota.com or nhtsa.gov for your Taco.
