I thought if anything the mega mat would have had extra room, but it ended up bulging out the sides. It sucks because it’s amazingly comfortable.

    Oh man…
Doesn’t seem like that would hurt anything. I wanted to grab one but REI was sold out so I ended up getting one of their blow up mattresses. Works great

Did you try closing up the tent with the mat inside?

Yes, once you deflate the mat there is much more room for sleeping bags and pillows than the factory mat. The mat is awesome, I’m just worried that it will put stress on the seams of the tent, especially towards the door where the tent in narrower.

Anyone know where one could potentially, order a custom RTT vinyl cover?
All I see are black ones and they are just kinda blah.... either colors, or designs, custom embroidery...etc....

If I had to guess I'd find a place that does marine upholstery. Any place that makes custom bimini tops might be able to. But honestly it sounds like more trouble than it would be worth.

The final piece of my mattress journey. My main gripe with the exped was having to inflate it that final bit, so I picked up one of these. I don’t think they’re made anymore due to me getting the last one in stock at Amazon and REI no longer carries them. They’re out there though if you hunt around, it was about $50.

Maybe a Jeep company? One that makes the covers for those? My aunt had some custom windows made for her patio in santa Fe, like floor to ceiling. Clear vinyl she puts up in the winter and takes down in the summer.

Owyhee Canyonlands. Got a nice light(ning) show at the end of the day as we scurried into the tent and huge drops of rain pelted the landscape.

You're more than welcome to submit it or request that or whatever. It seems that I always miss the submissions, etc., hahahaha.

The old man’s Tundra comes in handy sometimes. Airing it out in the garage while I want for the Prinsu mounting feet to get here from @Truck Brigade. Hope to mount it up next weekend.
