So I have a base model 2021 Tacoma with Utility package. Been driving my wife's Lexus SUV too much because compared to that the Tacoma ride is bumpier and louder on the highway. Would upgrading to 4600 or 5100s be worth it if all I'm doing is highway driving to and from work in this thing?

A truck will never ride anywhere near as nicely as a luxury SUV, 2 completely different suspension setups designed for different things. A rear leaf sprung truck is going to ride harshly in comparison to that SUV no matter what you do to it.

Some weight in the back will help with the rear end since that's what pickups' suspension was built to do - carry a load. Given your suspension is all brand new I don't think switching to 5100s would do much ride quality wise.

You mean a truck isn't as plush as Lexus??

Jokes aside, second what @eon_blue said about some weight in the bed.

Few people said..... the 3rd gen OR drives better than a 5th gen 4runner... Doesn't feel like a damn boat

And it always will be. Things can be done to make it incrementally better, but it's a truck.

And your utility package is an awesome choice for utilitarian purposes (pardon the pun).

Probably because I keep seeing people upgrade their rigs and I get a craving to do the same, but I've kept most everything minimal on mine so far. Just a lock box in the back really. Though planning on maybe going for a camper shell down the road when I eventually have to start carrying heavy tool and machines between jobs.

5100s will make it worse, the factory bilesteins from offroad are probably best for on road ride quality
