    Just received my Bilstein 4600 put rear on put bolt in bottom lose then tried to tighten top nut the shaft spins cant get it to tighten up any suggestions it wont turn but few threads then spins ?

    Does the very top of the threaded shaft have a nipple that looks like a small wrench can go on it? if not, you will need to hold the bottom of the shaft where the boot attaches with a pair of pliers/ small vice grips. you don't have to do a serious clamp on it, just enough to hold while tightening the nut.

    Typically you need to hold the top with vice grips or if has an Allen wrench to put in the top of the shaft.

    Hello the shaft is all threads nothing at top as stock shocks have . I am thinking if i ditch the lock nuts it came with and use standard Nut should work and some loctiite But thanks for the info
