Hello all, this is a thread that I should've created years ago, and as I modded my truck more and more I continued to put it off since it felt more and more pointless, but I have finally created a build thread because I suppose I should start somewhere and better late than never is what the cool kids say. I think.

I have a cement '17 Tacoma Pro Ecoboost 6MT and I'm in El Paso, TX.

    *Current Projects
    -

Past modifications that have been removed and/or sold:
*I'm one of those people who doesn't like having too much stuff on the truck that isn't functional for something, so if something doesn't serve too much of a purpose or isn't getting used as much anymore for whatever reason, I'll typically end up removing it

    - raptor lights
    - CBI hidden winch bumper
    - Smittybilt x20 10k winch with synthetic line
    - 30" hidden bumper light bar
    - Cali Raised passenger side molle bed panel

Just discovered that newer waterport shower.
Thinking about getting one. Not many reviews out on it.

That weekender holds 8gal and it's fantastic to have the extra water available. For our longer camping trips, we're now going to keep the Weekender for showers and we'll use the 3.8gal Day Tank for cleaning dishes/utensils, rinsing off shoes, stuff like that.

Last trip, the Day Tank got the wife and I a full shower and a quick rinse off, each. Refilled, repressurized using my viair, got about the same out of it again, and that's with some water also being used for dishes. So it's nice knowing the Weekender will yield much more uninterrupted use.

I've had a homemade shower tube for a couple years which is great. Costco has these $100 off the retail. I ordered one.

If it doesn't come with it and if you're in the habit of always taking off your connectors from the WaterPORT, contact WP for their newer brass connector for the Weekender. Protects the plastic threads they used, meant to remain there.

Fabspeed o2 sensor spacers with mini cats continue to work nicely, keeping away the CEL for the sensors, allowing me to retain my cruise control and meaning I should expect to have zero issues doing my annual state inspection.

Not to mention when I drove for the 1500-2k miles with the CEL for the sensors, I eventually got used to it being there and would've had no way of knowing if an additional cel popped for anything, if it was something no immediately felt in the drivability of the truck. So some peace of mind there

Last night I wired up my project for DC power to the bed.

10ga wire with inline fuse from my AGM Odyssey and ran to the rear. Kept it above the frame, kept away from exhaust and drivetrain to prevent friction/heat damage.

Panel is from Blue Sea and has a circuit switch, two 12v sockets and a voltmeter.

The panel in this specific configuration is no longer made so I had to order one that had two duel USBs and then swap those out for the voltmeter and extra socket.

In a couple weeks I'll be doing this in the wife's 4runner too. Our plan is to mirror all roof rack accessories/set ups and power availability, and between that and the trailer we ordered be able to just transplant gear quickly between the trucks with nearly identical parts/set-up/arrangement, hook up and go. Little to no fuss about which vehicle to take on a trip.
