I noticed in my 00 Tacoma and in an 01 4Runner I just purchased the small ground wire to the body are broken. Should I just wire up something similar and make sure the batteries are correctly installed or is there a more durable solution?

    Thanks

That connection being bad will result in dash light dimmer noise coming through to your speakers.

Oh, and it can make various gauges go a little crazy, cause radio noise with trailer brakes, and on some vehicles dim or disable various lights.
